National Match Armory
Order Department:
Here's how it works:
I grew up long ago and far away, in a place and time where everybody knew everybody and a man's word was his bond.
For that reason, my company, National Match Armory, handles sales and service in a very old fashioned way: personally.
1. You call (or email) and tell us what we can do for you.
2. We then discuss the available options, give you our best estimate of how long the work is going to take, explain the available payment plans and let you know how much it's going to cost.
3. As a concession to e-commerce, we now accept Visa, MasterCard. But we still welcome cashier's checks, money orders and personal checks via the mail.
4. When payment is received, we ship the merchandise or start working on your rifle.
True, that's not very modern, but it gets the job done in a fairly efficient manner.
It also gives us a chance to ask all the questions we need to ask - and for you to answer 'em. That way we both know exactly where we're going and how we're going to get there.
Building custom rifles is an old fashioned craft and not well suited to today's fast-paced world where impersonal transactions and instant gratification are the rule rather than the unfortunate exception.
So, if life in the fast lane has your knickers in a wad, take a few deep breaths before you call. We'll both be the better for it.
After all, good things take time... excellence takes a bit longer.
Terms:
National Match Armory now accepts Visa and MasterCard via Cardservice International, a Secure Payment Gateway provider. As of January 1, 2002, there is a 3% charge for credit card use.
We also accept cashiers checks, money orders and personal checks for merchandise via the mail.
We offer a time payment plan much like a department store lay-away. It's easy: 50% down, balance due on or before the date the merchandise is shipped. No extra charge for time payment.
Shipping, boxing and handling will be added to all orders.
We use and recommend FedEx for shipping to and from National Match Armory. Call for rifle shipping guidelines (see below*).
*Your new or newly reworked rifle is as valuable to us as it is to you. Unless a comparable case in a close-fitting factory box in good condition was provided when your rifle was received, it will be shipped or return-shipped in a premium quality, lockable, fiberglass and aluminum SKB single rifle case as shown. An additional charge of $65 will be made for this additional rifle protection and security. If you have no use for the case, you may return the case and the original box for a $65 refund if you'd prefer not to keep it.
Texas orders are taxed at the current rate.
No transfer or federal paperwork required for repairs.
Call to arrange transfers on all firearms.
All rifles are sold with a 3-day inspection period. Returns must be in the same condition received - no exceptions.
We encourage trade-ins. We often accept M1, 1903 Springfield and M1A rifles in trade, regardless of condition. Please inquire.
Please...plan to keep your calls and e-mails short... There's only one of me.
Thanks for choosing National Match Armory.
Please note: As of January 1, 2009, National Match Armory will cease to sell modified rifles outright.
We will continue to modify rifles sent to us for rework, as always.
If you do not already have a rifle to be modified, we will be more than happy to help you find one at an affordable price.
